Tried & True rifles begin with configurations Driftwood has already built, tested and refined. A Proven Build establishes the architecture and the relationships that make the rifle work. Supporting components may evolve as better parts become available or a build calls for a different fit.

A custom build is the right path when the rifle needs to be developed around a particular use, preference or constraint. You do not need to arrive with every component selected. Driftwood works through the meaningful decisions with you and confirms the complete build before production begins.

Available Now is exact physical inventory that has already been built. The configuration, condition and included equipment are shown on the individual listing, along with its actual sale price. Quantity is typically one.

1. Choose a path

Start with Tried & True, Available Now, or a new build.

2. Confirm the rifle

For a custom build or a Proven Build, Driftwood confirms the final configuration, price and expected timing before the build begins. For Available Now, the rifle already exists in the configuration shown.

3. Build or prepare

Confirmed builds enter production. Available Now rifles proceed through the applicable purchase and delivery process.

4. Inspect and validate

Completed builds are inspected and tested as appropriate to the rifle and its intended use.

5. Deliver

Driftwood coordinates the appropriate delivery or transfer and provides the records associated with the completed rifle.
