Welcome to Driftwood Western

Driftwood Western Office

Every company starts with a simple question.

For Driftwood Western, that question was:

What would happen if firearms were designed around the realities of ranch life, hunting, and everyday use instead of trends?

Over the years, I’ve spent time behind a variety of firearms—from military service and training to hunting, recreational shooting, and countless hours spent researching, building, testing, and refining equipment. Along the way, I noticed something.

Many firearms are built to excel at very specific tasks. Some are optimized for competition. Others are designed around military requirements. Some chase the latest industry trend.

But the rifles most people actually use tend to serve a different purpose.

They ride in trucks and side-by-sides. They spend time in gun safes, workshops, deer camps, and hunting blinds. They accompany ranchers checking fence lines. They protect livestock from predators. They teach new shooters. They become trusted tools that get handed down from one generation to the next.

Those are the firearms that inspired Driftwood Western.

Our goal is straightforward: build practical, dependable firearms that prioritize reliability, simplicity, and purpose.

Not every rifle needs to be the lightest.

Not every rifle needs to be the most expensive.

Not every rifle needs to be covered in accessories.

What matters is whether it performs when it is needed.

The American West has always valued tools that earn their place through hard work. A saddle, a truck, a hunting knife, or a rifle all share the same expectation: they should simply do their job.

That philosophy guides everything we do.

As Driftwood Western grows, we’ll use this journal to document the journey. We’ll share product development, range testing, lessons learned, partnerships, and the process of building a firearms company from the ground up.

You’ll see successes.

You’ll see mistakes.

You’ll see prototypes, ideas, and plenty of time spent at the workbench and on the range.

Most importantly, you’ll see our commitment to building firearms worthy of the people who carry them.

We’re still early in this journey, but we’re glad you’re here.

Welcome to Driftwood Western.
