Tried & True — Varmint Model
HCC
.22 LR · Hill Country Camo · Suppressed precision field rimfire

| Model | Varmint |
| Proven Build | HCC (Hill Country Camo) |
HCC is the darker, field-focused expression of the Varmint — a precision .22 built around a rigid Victor Titan stock, useful magnified glass and suppressed field use.
The rifle pairs genuine rimfire accuracy with the Hill Country Camo treatment that gives it a distinctly Driftwood identity, without changing its practical purpose: a quiet, stable and highly usable rifle for small game, pest control, range work and general ranch use. It is built to be carried and shot often, not kept as a display piece.

Why It Works
- Rigid 10/22 foundation — the Victor Titan stock and anchored action give the rifle a stable base without forcing it into a heavy bench-rifle role, so it still handles naturally in the field.
- Accuracy-first barrel architecture — HCC is built around a steel bull-barrel foundation that prioritizes repeatable rimfire accuracy while keeping the rifle practical to carry and use in the field.
- Useful rimfire glass — the Leupold 3–9×40 provides enough magnification to exploit the rifle's accuracy at practical distances, while remaining appropriately sized for a compact field .22.
- Suppressed field setup — HCC is built and used as a suppressed rifle, with overall balance, weight and handling considered with the suppressor installed, not added as an afterthought.
What We've Proven
- Function and reliability — proven through repeated field and range use as Driftwood's retained HCC reference rifle, cycling and feeding consistently across sessions.
- Suppressed accuracy — consistently accurate with the OCL Titanium 22 installed, holding zero and a stable point of impact across repeated range sessions.
These are observed development results, not accuracy guarantees.
Reference rifle equipment vs. Proven Build architecture
Driftwood's founder-retained HCC reference rifle currently carries a bipod and a mounted weapon light for field use. Those are working accessories on this particular rifle, not requirements of the HCC Proven Build itself — which is defined by the stock, optic, mount and suppressed-accuracy foundation above.
Built to Evolve
HCC is defined by the relationships that matter: a rigid 10/22 foundation, an accuracy-first steel barrel, a useful magnified optic, suppressed field balance and the Hill Country Camo visual treatment. Supporting hardware and field accessories can change as the build evolves, so long as the change preserves or improves those core characteristics rather than working against them.
